Alison & Joshua’s Wedding at Glasbern Inn in Fogelsville, PA
I’ve known Alison for a really long time, and when she reached out to me about photographing her wedding, I was incredibly excited. She’s one of those people who’s genuinely kind and super sweet. It was great meeting Joshua during their engagement session. I don’t want to blow up all the private details of their love story in public, but I’m just really happy they found each other. When she told me that she was getting on June 28th, 2025 at Glasbern Inn in Fogelsville, PA, I already had a pretty good sense of what the day would feel like.
Casual, warm, inviting. I knew that it was going to be the kind of day that felt like a group of good friends spending time together and family members reuniting for a big party.
The Details
I really liked the little details they had in place with casual nods to their travel addiction. Purple, lavender, and blue blooms layered in clear glass, nothing overdone, just well-chosen.
Getting Ready
The groomsmen seemed like a really tight-knit group of family members and close friends.
The First Look
I’ll be honest, I wasn’t expecting this one to hit the way it did. We found a quiet spot where Alison and Joshua could have their first look together and read their vows to each other before the ceremony, just the two of them. I’m not an overly emotional person, but these moments always get me a little bit. You have two people who truly just get to be themselves and react how they truly feel instead of worrying about their reaction in front of groups of people. There’s no pressure, just being in the moment.
At the end of the night, after the dancing and the toasts and kisses by the fountain, there was a private dance for the newlyweds while everyone was getting set up for the sparkler sendoff outside.
Quick side note: there was a pierogi truck. I’ve shot a lot of weddings and I have never seen a pierogi truck. I ate some. That buttery, doughy goodness was exactly what I needed at the end of a long day.
The whole vendor team made this one easy. The staff at Glasbern is always a pleasure to work alongside. Joel kept the dance floor moving all night, there’s a reason he’s on my preferred vendor list. And Ryan and Carmen from the video side were great, as usual. I always enjoy seeing what they put together from a day like this.
Alison and Joshua, thanks for having me. It was exactly the kind of day I’d expect from you both.
