Girl-dad. Retired band guy who now mostly plays kid songs and is weirdly okay with that. Looking for fun people to do spontaneous stuff while I take pictures.
It all happens so fast.
You hire me so you don’t have to think about the photos. That’s the whole idea. We will build a timeline that keeps the day moving. I know when to step in and when to disappear into the background. And when the big moments happen, you’ve forgotten I’m there; that’s exactly how it should be.
The details will take care of themselves. The cufflinks, the centerpieces, the perfect lighting for the dress. I’ve got all of that. What I’m really there for is the stuff nobody planned. The spontaneous laugh that no one was expecting. The way your person looks at you when they think no one’s watching. The moments that happen in between all the moments.
Those are the ones you’ll want to look at twenty years from now.

My approach
So, pure honesty here… my goal is not to photograph 80 weddings a year. I want to work with couples who truly value photography. They value the emotional impact an image can have, its ability to evoke feelings, and the chance to see the faces of the ones we love the most whenever we want. I only take on a limited number of commissions a year so I can be fully present for the couples I’m working with.
After you contact me, we’ll set up a time for a video chat where we talk about not just photography, but what is most important to you. This helps me understand your needs and how I can create the images that you’ll love.
During your engagement session, we’ll get to know each other a little better. This is so important for me to know you as a couple in front of the camera, and for you to be comfortable with me behind the camera. Leading up to the wedding day, we’ll be in regular contact, whether it’s over text, email, or calls. If you need help or advice with something, I’m your guy.
After the dust has settled and all of the photos are edited and ready for delivery, we’ll schedule a reveal session where I’ll take you through the highlights of the day (this is one of my favorite parts because I love seeing your expressions!).
