My Approach
The best photos happen when you’re comfortable and forget that the camera is there.
Getting to know you is such an important part of the way I work. I really want to know what matters to you: the things that you get excited about and things you might be nervous about, and the people and the moments you absolutely must have captured.
Your engagement session gives us a chance to hang out, get comfortable, and make being in front of the camera feel a whole lot less weird. By the time your wedding day arrives, I don’t want you to feel like I’m some random guy who showed up with a camera.
On your wedding day, I’ll give you direction and step in when you need it, and then step back when you don’t. I’m still there waiting for the big moments, obviously, but also all the little ones happening in between. The reactions. The laughter. The chaos. Your people being themselves. The things you didn’t even know were happening.
Because I take on a limited number of weddings each year, I can give every couple the time and attention they deserve. From our first conversation through the final photographs, I’m there for you.
